At First Baptist Church of Strongsville Garbc, we are excited to invite you to our Advent & Christmas celebrations. As a vibrant and faithful community, we strive to create meaningful experiences that bring joy and inspiration during this special time.

Celebrating the Season of Advent

Advent is a season of expectant waiting and preparation, as we journey towards the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a time to reflect on the miracle of God becoming man and the light that entered the world. At our church, we embrace this season with enthusiasm and reverence.

Weekly Advent Services

Join us every Sunday during Advent for our special worship services. These services are designed to illuminate the various themes of Advent, leading us closer to the celebration of Jesus' birth.

  • Hope: Experience the hope that Jesus brings as we light the first advent candle and reflect on the anticipation of His arrival.
  • Joy: Discover the joy that fills our hearts as the second candle is lit, reminding us of the Good News of Jesus' birth.
  • Peace: Embrace the peace that transcends understanding as the third candle is lit, symbolizing the tranquility brought by the Prince of Peace.
  • Love: Rejoice in the boundless love of God as the fourth candle is lit, representing His everlasting love for all humanity.

Each service is carefully crafted to uplift and inspire, incorporating scripture readings, prayers, music, and a message that reflects the essence of Advent.

Throughout Advent, we host a variety of special programs and events that engage our community in the joyous anticipation of Christmas.

Christmas Concert: Songs of Celebration

Mark your calendars for our annual Christmas concert, "Songs of Celebration." Join us for an evening filled with enchanting melodies, powerful choir performances, and heartwarming solos that beautifully capture the spirit of the season. Whether you are a music enthusiast or simply looking to immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas, this concert promises to be a memorable experience for all.

Live Nativity Scene

Experience the wonder of the Christmas story come to life at our live nativity scene. Walk through Bethlehem as you witness our dedicated volunteers reenacting the birth of Jesus. This immersive experience will transport you back in time, allowing you to connect with the true meaning of Christmas.

Children's Christmas Pageant: A Night of Innocence

Our young members are eager to share the joy of Jesus' birth through their heartwarming Christmas pageant, "A Night of Innocence." Watch as they bring the story to life with their radiant smiles, contagious enthusiasm, and innocent portrayals of Mary, Joseph, the wise men, and more. It's a beautiful reminder of the power of faith and the gift of children.

Celebrating Christmas Day

On Christmas Day, we come together as a church family to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Prepare to be filled with love, hope, and gratitude as we commemorate this significant event.

Christmas Morning Service

Join us for a heartfelt Christmas morning service. This special service allows us to rejoice together, expressing our gratitude for the gift of salvation. Together, we reflect on the profound impact Jesus' birth had on the world, and we celebrate the hope, joy, peace, and love that He brings into our lives.

Community Christmas Feast

Following the Christmas morning service, all are welcome to join us for a delightful community Christmas feast. This joyous gathering gives us the opportunity to extend our love and gratitude to our community as we break bread together, sharing in the warmth and spirit of the season.
