Introduction

Welcome to St. Johns Evangelical, a community of believers that operates under the direction of First Baptist Church of Strongsville Garbc. We are dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community and nurturing our faith in God. Through various events and gatherings, we aim to create an environment where individuals can grow spiritually and develop meaningful connections with others who share the same beliefs.

Community and Society - Faith and Beliefs

St. Johns Evangelical, as part of First Baptist Church of Strongsville Garbc, belongs to the category of Community and Society - Faith and Beliefs. Upcoming Events

Mark your calendars for the following events taking place at St. Johns Evangelical:

Event 1: Annual Community Picnic

Join us on June 7, 2015, for our Annual Community Picnic. This family-friendly event will feature games, food, and fellowship. It's an excellent opportunity to meet other members of our church community and enjoy a day of fun-filled activities for all ages.

Event 2: Bible Study Series - Exploring the Book of Acts

Starting on June 15, 2015, we will be hosting a Bible study series that delves deep into the Book of Acts. Led by our knowledgeable and passionate pastors, this series will provide an in-depth understanding of the early church and its impact on modern-day Christianity. All are welcome to attend and participate in these enriching discussions.

Event 3: Youth Retreat - Strengthening Our Faith

From July 10 to July 12, 2015, our youth ministry is organizing a transformative retreat aimed at strengthening the faith of our younger members. Through engaging workshops, worship, and fellowship, we will empower our youth to navigate the challenges they face as Christians in today's world. This retreat promises to be a memorable and impactful experience for all attendees.

Event 4: Thanksgiving Food Drive

In the spirit of giving back to our community, we will be organizing a Thanksgiving Food Drive from November 1, 2015, to November 20, 2015. We invite everyone to contribute non-perishable food items, which will be distributed among local families in need. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Event 5: Christmas Concert - Celebrating the Season

On December 15, 2015, we will be hosting a spectacular Christmas Concert featuring performances by our talented choir and musicians. This festive celebration of the season will immerse you in the joy and wonder of Christmas through beautiful music and a heartwarming message of hope. Bring your loved ones and experience the true meaning of Christmas with us.

Event 6: Annual Prayer Retreat - Drawing Closer to God

From February 5 to February 7, 2016, we are organizing our Annual Prayer Retreat. This retreat provides a serene and contemplative environment for individuals to deepen their connection with God through prayer and meditation. It offers a valuable opportunity for spiritual renewal and rejuvenation, allowing participants to gain clarity and fresh perspectives in their faith journey.
