Welcome to First Baptist Church of Strongsville Garbc, a pillar of faith within the Great Lakes Conference Churches of God. As a community deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, we strive to bring people closer to God and help them develop a strong belief system that supports and guides them throughout their lives.

Our Beliefs

At First Baptist Church of Strongsville Garbc, we hold firm to a set of core beliefs that form the foundation of our faith. These beliefs are not only meaningful to us, but they also shape the experiences and values we share with our community. 1. The Bible

The Bible serves as the ultimate authority for our faith and practice. It is the inspired and infallible Word of God, revealing His love, teachings, and plan for humanity. We believe in the importance of studying and applying the Scriptures to gain a deeper understanding of God's will for our lives.

2. God

We believe in the existence of one true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. God is the creator of all things, the source of love and truth, and the ultimate authority over all creation. Through our worship and service, we seek to honor and glorify Him.

3. Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, sacrificed Himself on the cross to save humanity from sin, and rose from the dead, offering salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him. We believe that Jesus is the only way to God the Father and the hope for humanity's redemption.

4. Salvation

Salvation is a gracious gift from God, made possible through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned through personal efforts or good deeds but is entirely based on God's grace and forgiveness. We believe that salvation grants us eternal life with God and sets us free from the power of sin.

5. The Church

The Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers, and Jesus Christ is its head. We believe in the importance of gathering together as a community of faith, worshiping God, studying the Scriptures, and supporting one another on our spiritual journeys. As a church, we are committed to serving our local community and sharing the love of Christ.
